What to Wear to Your Session

Choosing what to wear to your photo session can be stressful. Hopefully these guides will help you plan your outfits in advance, so you can focus on the excitement of your photo shoot!

Complimenting, not matching colors, are best for engagement sessions. I love layers, although most assume it will make you look bulky and/or heavy, I believe that it adds texture to the photos.  I also love patterns and prints and think the more the merrier, as long as it’s done tastefully!

These can always be tricky! First of all, you have to take into consideration what your children feel comfortable wearing and make sure they are happy with their outfit.  The most important thing is for you and your family to be comfortable.  As I said before, complementary colors and patterns are best here! Layers for mom and dad will create depth, and bright colors for children are always good!

Mamas, the most important thing for you is to be comfortable and happy with what you’re wearing. If you don’t feel beautiful, then it will come across in pictures. This is such a special time in your life and the focus will be on your and your gorgeous bump! Dress up your bump and really accentuate it!

Seniors, you’re about to graduate high school and what better what to celebrate than showing off your unique style and fresh look? These sessions are meant to be fun and showcase your personality, so wear what you would normally wear out and about with friends at the movies or the mall, but add a little spice to your wardrobe! Most importantly, dress your age and enjoy!
